Cyangw'ibishuko bibayo, Tugezeyo hacur'iki?
Ko tuvug'iby'urukundo, N'ibishura bizambarwa,
Tukabyishimira cyane; Kubayo bizacur'iki?

Tuvuga n'iby'igitondo, Kizaba gitamanzuye,
Tukazabona wa murwa, Umanuk'urimbishijwe.
Umurw'urabagirana, Utarangwamw'agahinda,
Ntubemo n'imibabaro, Har'umunezero gusa.

N'ubwo ngoswe n'ibishuko, Ntunganiriza kujyayo;
Ngo nanjye njye niyumvamo, Uko kubayo byamera;
