1. Kalinda, njeba bushe u-bushiku buli shani?
Bushe amalangililo ya kwisa yali 'pepi?
We mulendo ima bwaca! Mona kasuba katula;
Ima fwalila bwala ca; Lucelo na lufika.
2. Kalinda, mona lubuto lule butishe nshila;
Malangililo pa calo, Yatwebo kwisa kwakwe;
Lint' ipenga likalila, Kwimya bonse 'basendama,
'Bashila bali mutulo, Kufwalo muyayaya.
3. Mona bwafika bushiku Bukulu bwe Sabata;
Bonse natubilikishe, Bufumu bwapalama;
Yangu! Namona pe shilya, Lulumbi lwenu Kenani;
No musumba wa wamisha, Yerusalemu mupya.
4. Njeba fya musumba ulya, Wakulwa na Sahabu,
Umusumba wa kwa Lesa, Wa cine wa mutende;
Kwabe mpili shabekesha, Ukubeka nga Sahabu;
Imimana ya wamisha, Yafimbwa na maluba.
5. Mone mpanga ilyapepi, Fitwalo tafikuba,
Kulya kwaliba fyo kwanga! Mu mpanga yawamisha;
Umfwe ciunda ca nyimbo, Icilesendwa no mwela;
Minshipendwa ileimba, Twalaba nabo kulya.
