1. Mulindi mmbudze mutsho nga thendo ya tsioni,
Hu vhonala dzi tsumbedzo, dzi amba u da hawe,
Vuwa-ha u lavhelese, mapfuvhi a khou tswuka,
Ambara-ha dza mbingano, vuwa-ha vuwa lo tsha.
2. Vhona u penya ha tshedza, hu ndilani yau-vho,
Dzitsumbedzo dzo no anda, dzi ambaho zwi daho,
Hu tshi lila phalaphala, shangoni na lwanzheni,
Vho felaho Murenani, vha vutshela u tshila.
3. Tshedza tshi khou aluwa tsha nwaha wa Savhatha,
Vhothe vha tshi isa ipfi, muvhuso wo no swika,
Ndo lavhelesa nga kule, hu khou penya Kanana
Na vhudi ha ngei Salema, hu khou toḒzimela.
4. Mudi uyo ndi musuku, mune wawo ndi khotsi,
Ndi Murena wa Tsioni, U vhusa nga mulalo,
Hu na thavha dzi penyaho, na dzo lapfaho dzi hone,
Na milambwana i hone, ya madi a difhaho.
5. Ilo shango lo sendela, lo tanwa nga vhugala,
Nga maduvha othe-othe, ri do vha ri Edeni,
Hu do pfala nyimbo fhedzi, dzi tshi bvuma muyani,
Vhanzhi vha do imbelela, musi ri tshi vho swika.
