Mulisa a fhindula a ri: Hu tshe na nthihi yo xelaho nandi,
Naho ndila yo vhifha tshothe-tshothe,
Ndi do di i toda Nda vhuya nayo,
Ndi do i toda Nda vhuya nayo.
3. Dzo vhuyaho a dzo ngo divha,
Vhudzivha ha madi, na mataka,
Swiswi zwe Murena a fhira nga khazwo,
A tshi toda yo xelaho,
A pfa u lila hayo E kule ’
Yo fhihamelwa lufu lu tsini- tsini,
Yo fhihamelwa lufu lu tsini.
4. Murena, malofha aya o rothaho thavhani a bva ngafhi?
’Ndo fhaladza malofha aya Ndi tshi toá¸
’a muthu muthihi fhedzi,’
Murena, izwo zwanda zwo itwa’ni?
Zwo huvhadzwa vhusiku nga mirenzhe,
Zwo huvhadzwa vhusiku nga mirenzhe.
5. Vhukati ha dziphenyo thavhani, luwani, matimboni, ha bva
Mukosi wa pfala tadulu, u tshi ri:
’Takalani, ndo i wana!’
Na vharunwa vha bvumela-vho vha ri:
Murena O i wana nngu yawe,
Murena O no di wana nngu.
