Ndĩ na Mũkũũri ũthaithanagĩra,
Mũkũũri mwendani aingĩ matiũĩ,
Na rĩu nĩandorete e na wendo mũingĩ,
Ndakena angĩtuĩka Mũkũũri waku.
Nĩngũhooyagĩra, Nĩngũhooyagĩra,
Nĩngũhooyagĩra, mũrata wakwa

Ndĩ na baba wakwa ũrĩa ũheete mwĩhoko,
Wa muoyo ũrĩa ũtagaathira,
Nĩaranjĩta narua tũcemanie nake,
Ndakena angĩtwĩta twĩ hamwe nawe.

Ndĩ na nguo njega njerũ ya matu-inĩ
ĩnjetereire thiĩ ngamĩhuumbe, kuo,
Hihi ngahaana atĩa ndarĩĩkia kwĩhuumba,
Nĩtũgathiĩ nawe ũkehuumbe yaku.

Ndĩ na thaayũ mwega ũhaana ta rũũĩ,
Thaayũ andũ a thĩ ĩno matangĩmenya,
Mũheani na mwene guo nĩ Mwathani,
Ndaakena ingĩmenya nawe wĩ na guo.

Wamenyana na Jesũ ĩra andũ arĩa angĩ,
Mũhonokia wakwa atuĩke waku,
Mahooere nĩguo o nao maheeo,
Riiri ũcio wake wamahooera.
