Mwathani rĩu ndigĩte Maũndũ ma thĩ ĩno;
Ngwenda gũkũrũmĩrĩra, nginye mũtĩ-inĩ waku.
Ndĩ na thĩĩna mũingĩ mũno, Andũ othe mangĩndiga;
We, Jesũ, Ndũngĩtĩkĩra; Kũũndiga Kinya tene.

Jesũ, nĩngũririkana, ũrĩa wathũrirũo ma,
Makĩrega gũkwĩhoka, Magĩgũtiga othe,
Ingĩhenio nĩ araata, kana mangĩmena mũno.
Ndĩinaga na ngoro yakwa, Mwathani nĩ mũraata.

Njikaraga ta mũgeendi, ũrarĩrĩire kwene;
Njetereire ngoona mwago, Wa Mũhonokia wakwa,
Ndingĩcũũthĩrĩria thĩĩna, No ũkeengi wa Mwathani,
Ndĩĩtũũraga! Na gĩkeno, Hingo ya Muoyo wakwa.
