Ciĩranĩro ciake ciothe, Nĩ wohanĩri wa mehia
Na matonyo megũkenga, Hamwe na thũmbĩ hunjiai.

Mothamaki nĩ maragwa, naco ngaari ciake ciũke,
Hunjiai tha ciake nyingĩ, Coro wake nĩũkũgamba.

Ndũũrĩrĩ nĩiranangĩka, Kristo no ateng’erete
Kahinda nĩ ta gathiru, ũthamaki nĩ mũkinyu.
