Gũgakĩhana atia hĩndĩ iyo Mũthamaki oka?
Mũrũ-wa-iya Jesũ oka, gũkahana atia
Tũkahaana atia acoka, wee ona niĩ?

Na nĩagoka e na ũnene, ekĩrwo thũmbi na ti mĩigua,
Titherũ ũnene nĩ ũkonwo Mũthamaki oka.

Akametĩkĩra akenete, arĩa me na ngũo cia ũhiki;
Tũkarathimwo twamũkenia mũthamaki oka.

Nĩgũkagia na kwamũranio, aria aregi nĩ makarĩra;
ĩo nĩ hĩndĩ ya kĩmako Kristo acooka.

Mwathani rĩu tũraathime, arĩa rĩu tũgwetereire;
Tũtigetigĩre gũkuona, woka mũnene.
