Nĩngwendete Jesũ, Nĩngwendete ma,
Nĩngwendete Jesũ na Ngai wakwa.
Nĩngwendete mũno, nawe nĩũũĩ,
Nacio ciĩko ciakwa nĩciumbũraga.

Ngenaga na ngoro, na ndigĩtiga,
Nĩ ũtonga njĩrĩirũo ngenda ndĩwone.
Ngaikara na Jesũ, na araika,
Na andũ ngiri nyingĩ arĩa mendaine.

Ndaikara na Jesũ no ngarathimwo,
No ngona gĩkeno na kĩhurũko,
ũhonokio waku na wendo waku,
Nĩcio ndĩinagĩra na kanua gakwa.

We Mũkũũri wakwa, Wĩ Mũthamaki,
Wa salemu njega na ũndeithagia,
Ngũgũkumia na mũgambo wa igũrũ,
Ngũkenera Jesũ rũĩ rũa muoyo.
