Nĩngainaga ũhoro mwega, Wa Jesũ ũrĩa wanguĩrĩire;
Agĩtiga ũnene wake, Agĩkua mũtĩ igũrũ.
Nĩngamũinĩra, nĩngamũinĩra, Hamwe na andũ atheru;
Nĩngamũinĩra, nĩngamũinĩra, Kĩũngano-inĩ kĩnene.

Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa niĩ ndorĩĩte, Mwathani nĩanyonire,
Akĩhĩĩmbĩria na mooko, akĩnjokia harĩ we.

Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ndatihaangĩtio, na nganogio nĩ meehia;
Mwathani nĩaahonirie, Akĩninĩra guoya.

O na nduma ĩngĩtumana, Ngere njĩra cia kĩeha;
Mũhonokia e hamwe na niĩ, Nĩekũndoongoria wega.
