Jua la rohoni mwangu, mpendwa Mwokozi wangu,
Usiku giza hapana, ukiwa karibu Bwana.

Nikipata usingizi, nijaze fikara hizi,
Ni tamu sana, nilale pendoni mwako milele.

Kaa nami ewe Bwana, usiku kama mchana,
Nisiishi mbali nawe, ni uhai kuwa nawe.

Kama mtoto mnyonge, ameshawishwa atange,
Mtafute ewe Bwana, ujirudishie tena.

Wagonjwa wape amani, waneemeshe maskini,
Waliao, Mtulizi, wape wote usingizi.

Asubuhi tutokapo, tukaribie tulipo,
Twingiapo duniani, tuwe mwako mkononi.
