Na kuchanya wuwo,
Ndimbenge vinjeru ivyo,
Vikalenga dazi,
Mwezi kuwala usiku,
Na nyenyezi wuwo.

Nkhwimba za uwemi wake,
Wakutipa kurya,
Wakayowoya na mazgu,
vyose vyachitika,
Fumu mukavikhazika,
mwa minthondwe nadi,
Vinthu vya m'charu cha pasi,
Na vya mchanya vyose.

Mbuto na maluwa ghose
vikumvumbulanl,
Mawingu na vimphupulu vikupulikira,
Vya moyo vyose ndimwe mukuvipwelerera,
Ndichimbilirenkhu ine?
