There is a blessed hope,

The world esteems delight.

The prospects of the tomb.

Dispels the painful, anxious doubt,
And whispers, God is love.
That voice from Calvarys height,
Proclaims the soul forgivn;
That star is revelations light,
That hope, the of heavn.
